Stakeholder Workshop on Urban Climate Adaptation – Valencia

ThinkClimate recently facilitated a multi-stakeholder workshop in Valencia focused on urban climate adaptation strategies. The event brought together local government officials, NGOs, researchers, and citizen representatives to explore solutions to heatwaves, drought management, and green infrastructure planning.

The workshop was designed as a co-creation space, combining participatory mapping, case study analysis, and open dialogue sessions. Participants shared local challenges and experiences, generating a set of concrete recommendations for the city’s next Climate Adaptation Plan.

This initiative is part of ThinkClimate’s ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive processes that translate scientific knowledge into actionable local policy. A full workshop report will be available in September.
